Qi-Gong, Sound bath and Mandala Workshops Poster-LR.jpg

This day workshop offer you tools to connect with body and heart through the ancient wisdom of Qi Gong from China combined with the creative Art of Mandala Weaving from the Traditional Indigenous Americas.

Qigong is a gentle and flowing form of movement performed with a focused, attentive mind. Regulated breathing is encouraged, to promote deep relaxation. The practice will release the joints to encourage energy to flow and to find  balance in the body’s various systems. In the Chinese model, the union of heart and mind is essential for healing. In this workshop, the emphasis for the Qigong session will be to open the heart and lung channels, to release creativity.

We will follow with a deep relaxation into  a Sound bath with Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, drums and other beautiful instruments, allowing our mind to settle, leaving our hands and heart free to create.

God's eye mandalas from ancient traditions in the Americas teach us about setting intention from our heart centre. We will be understating the importance of weaving as a symbol of strength and concentration as we move into our intuitive

creativity. This experience also works as a mirror which reflects ones thinking pattern carried on in daily life, as we learn through mindful crafting how to bring your body - mind - soul into balance. Legacy from the Indigenous people from Central and South America.
