Animal Nurture
Our aim is to help you improve the well being and quality of life of your animal and maintain optimal health and function for as long as possible. If your animal is in prime health, we will help you maintain that condition for as long as possible, and as easily as possible. To do this we draw on Traditional Chinese Veterinary medicine, complementary holistic therapies and allopathic or Western Veterinary medicine. We draw on the best from all options to give a holistic approach to overall physical health and emotional well being. Our assessment includes dietary recommendations and emotional well being. If your friend has been with you, or in other homes, for a very long time, and is now showing the signs of “wear and tear” we have herbs, supplements and treatments that will ease those aged aches and pains and make the rest of his or her life as comfortable as possible. If your “mate” has emotional and/or behavioural problems we will support its growth and development through them with treatments including flower essences, supplements, homoeopathics, various energetic treatments including Bowen. We whole-heartedly recommend that you maintain contact with your orthodox vet for situations where Western methods are most applicable to the problem. Rosemary is more than willing to communicate and work in conjunction with your Vet and is happy to discuss problems and on-going treatment with them. We carry a small variety of products, mostly as natural as possible, which we feel could be of assistance and/or support in achieving our aim of “quality and quantity of life”.
What We Don’t Do
We do not offer an emergency service. If an emergency or life-or-death situation has occurred, it is best (more productive) that you attend your own, or their locum Vet, or one of the emergency centres (Murdoch Emergency Centre south of the river or Northern Suburbs Small Animal Emergency Centre north of the river). We do not have emergency or surgery facilities and this is also not anticipated to be part of our service. Contact us for on-going and holistic support for the recovery of your pet.
