  • How do I list my event on your Facebook page? Open or Close

    We made this process really simple for you!

    List your event on and upon approval we will list your event on our Facebook page, Instagram, LinkedIn and distribute it through Twitter as well.

    Here are the steps for listing your event:

    Go to

    1. Create a new account (if you have not listed an event on this website before) or simply log in.
    2. Upon logging in we will take you automatically to the page where you can list your event.
    3. Fill in the form and you are done.

    We will take care of the rest, approval of your event, distributing it to Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter.

    Here are the steps for editing your existing events:

    1. Log into your account
    2. Find under "My Events" the submenu called "Manage Events"
    3. You will find all your events listed there. To edit, click on the pencil and start editing.
    4. Save and Close will update your advertised event immediately.

  • How to list your events? Open or Close

    We are making it easy for you to showcase your up-coming event beautifully.

    There are only a couple of simple steps to take:

    1. Make sure you have all that you need to list your event
      • A great descriptive title
      • A good description (you have lots of space for that)
      • An idea in which category to post your event in
      • The address of the venue
      • The presenter(s) and organiser(s) names and contacts
      • A great picture to showcase your event and draw attention of the visitor (please note: the image should be landscape format 800 by 500 pixels and either be a .gif, .jpg or .png file format, click here for a HOW TO RESIZE YOUR IMAGE)
    2. Then Register an account if you haven't done so yet
    3. Then LOGIN (right top on website) and list your event.

  • Do I have to sign up in order to be able to post an event? Open or Close

    Yes, in order to post an event (or several events) you will need to establish a user account. Once you have your user account, you will be able to post your events straight away.

  • How to reduce image size? Open or Close

    If you are not very familiar with image sizes and resolution, here is a little help.

    Here at Holistic Events Australia are offering a beautiful platform to showcase your event. Hence we would like to you upload your image in LANDSCAPE format, meaning the width of the image is bigger than the height.

    Resolution plays a big factor, basically we could accept large images but we do resize them while they upload, so the way the image looks like could be very different. Therefore we advise you to scale your image to a max. of 800 pixels width and 500 pixels (or less) height.

    The best format to use is .jpg or .jpeg. This will make sure that all the background is covered (no transparent areas).

    If you are not familiar with resizing images, please go to and this will allow you to resize your huge images simply by defining scale image % or by defining length of pixels.

  • Why is my event not instantly published? Open or Close

    In order to keep a high standard on this website, we decided to check each ad before we will publish it. There is often spam on websites that is very unsightly and does not make for a good experience for the user.

  • Can I delete my event? Open or Close

    Yes, you can.

    Simply log in and then find your event. Click on the edit button edit and a pop up window will appear. 

    Click on DELETE EVENT.

  • Can I edit an event that is published? Open or Close

    Yes, you can edit an event anytime. Simply log in and find your published event and click on the edit button edit on the right upper side of your event. A pop up window will appear and you can click on EDIT MAIN EVENT.

    Please note: You can see this icon only if you are logged in and the event is your event.

    Your changes have to be reviewed by an administrator, you will get an email when your event is live again. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Notification of new events Open or Close

    Specific Notification

    As a subscribed user of this website you are able to bookmark up to 10 categories, so that you will get informed whenever a new event is listed in the desired category. 

    Make sure that you are logged in.

    Use the menu link NOTIFY ME under MY EVENTS to adjust the settings for your preferred categories.





     Simply click on the x to delete any option and then click into the white space to get a list of possible options to choose from.
