Healthcare Professionals in Australia Save your date!
From November 20 – 21, HIMSS is organizing the Australia Digital Health Summit 2019 supported by the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA). This Summit is meant for healthcare professionals to look into “The Now and Next in Digital Healthcare” in Australia with a focus on Interoperability and Connected Care.
The healthcare industry is undoubtedly data-intensive, and the onus is on healthcare professionals to provide quality care thanks to increased accessibility to interoperable health systems. The Summit will thus discuss the interoperability of data and connected care so that data can be shared across a large number of entities.
This is especially relevant at a time when My Health Record (MHR) has become a key pillar of the Australian digital health strategy. ADHA is also working on software for sharing e-records. This enables easy monitoring and diagnosis.
On the flip side, when data is available to a large number of healthcare providers, it is prone to security issues. The Summit will also address cybersecurity issues related to healthcare data being shared.
Besides this, the Summit will also look into how to leverage digital technologies to innovate and provide better healthcare services.
So register now and head to Sydney ICC for ADHS19 to be a part of the now and next in digital health!
